This was a difficult fishing match with fish proving scarce with seven anglers blanking and seven with just one fish out of the 21 anglers who entered. Steve Litt from Maryport was the winner with 4 fish for 127 points and Stuart Dewhurst from Preston 2nd with 3 fish for 92 points. Mostly plaice flounders were caught with an odd eel.
The Individual league titale went to Stuart Dewhurst who had a commanding lead going into this match and could not lose even if he had blanked. 2nd place went to Steve Nicholson:
