Conditions were calm and warm, but the expected smoothounds did not turn up and catches consisted mainly of flounders with an odd small tope, bass, whiting and gurnard also caught. Stuart Dewhurst won the match with 4 fish for 103 points, 2^nd was Andy Young with 3 fish for 102 points and 3^rd was Andy Steele with 3 fish for 81 points. 4^th was John Amery with 3 fish for 67 points.
